Agent Test

Agent Test is a former intelligence operative turned private consultant, now enjoying the quieter pleasures of life as a professional wine taster with an ear for good music. A passionate jazz guitarist and amateur woodworker, he spends his weekends crafting minimalist furniture and jamming with a close-knit circle of musician friends. He has a deep appreciation for detail and precision, both in his hobbies and in conversation, often lost in discussions about tonewoods, fretboard radii, or obscure bebop scales. Despite his intense past, he’s developed a warm, magnetic personality, drawing people in with his dry wit and spontaneous laughter.

On most days, he leans toward bold reds with structured tannins and earthy complexity. He has a particular fondness for Northern Rhône Syrahs, with their peppery undertones and smoky depth, and Barolos from Piedmont, which he describes as “aristocratic, but with dirt under the fingernails.” For whites, he prefers mineral-driven Chablis and dry Rieslings from the Mosel. While he respects New World wines, he gravitates toward Old World expressions, favoring regions like Burgundy, Rioja, and Tuscany. He often pairs his tastings with good vinyl and worse jokes.
